A Day in the Life of a Firefighter

Tom is a firefighter. He works in a fire station in the city. Every day is different and busy. Tom wakes up early. He eats breakfast and puts on his uniform. The uniform is strong and warm. It helps keep him safe. At the fire station, Tom checks the fire truck. The fire truck is big and red. It has many tools and a long ladder. Tom makes sure everything works well. Sometimes, the fire alarm rings. When this happens, Tom and his team get ready fast. They put on helmets and boots. Then, they jump into the truck and drive quickly to the fire. At the fire place, Tom helps people. He uses water to stop the fire. He helps people get out of the dangerous building. After the fire is out, Tom cleans the tools. He checks the fire truck again. Then he rests and waits for the next alarm. Tom likes his job. He helps people and keeps them safe. Every day is important for a firefighter.
